How does Hector symbolize home and family? If this contrasts with the approach of Agamemnon, what does he symbolize? What have we seen so far of these two men's characters? What quotations could you use as evidence for your ideas?
okay this is the topic that im goin to write about. i will be talking about how Agamemnon is just plain 'ol selfish and only thinks about himself and Hector is more about his country and the glory of his people.
That Hector is the father of a son and the husband of a woman. Hector wants his son to become batter then he was. Also he wants people to look at his wife and say that is the young brave man's wife. That every one will respect him. He is the father that has to fight to show the troy people that he won't give up. He is fighting for his rights and Agamemnon, doesn't know what is coming to him. But he also doesn't want to make his wife a widow and his son a fatherless. "I would be called coward, if i site back from a war". Hector is a man that is going on his on way and fighting for what is right. Unlike Agamemnon that thinks he is the right person and getting what he wants. Those two men are different and have different thoughts.

yes i also believe he is a beast because he is following the troy's code of honor. Dying for his people and mostly for the safety of his family.
I agree with Allie. Agamemnon is very selfish. Hector fights for his country and glory and i also agree with Eladio, Hector is a beast.
okay, so Eladio, Hector is a beast??? oh okay..lol
allie says he a beast but i believe he is more like a god.
okay heres my quote: "Zeus please allow my son to be just like his father.."
Hector is fighting for the pride of Troy.
